Teil der Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie von BOBST ist es, den Energieverbrauch und damit den CO2-Ausstoss signifikant zu reduzieren. Folgerichtig ist 2012 am Standort im Waadtländischen Mex eine Solarfarm entstanden, die 2014 mit noch grösserer Kapazität erweitert wurde.
